The company was founded by Karen Feldman in 1998. An American living in Prague with a passion for antiques and design, Karen started working with some local engravers to interpret her own designs and not long after Artel was founded.
The Artel style combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs. Adhering to centuries of tradition, each piece by Artel is given the dedication and attention such luxury items require.
